Sharon And Ozzy Osbourne’s Suicide Pact

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have agreed to assisted suicide in the event they begin to suffer from a neurodegenerative disease. Sharon says, “We believe 100% in euthanasia, so have drawn up plans to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains. If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer’s, that’s it - we’d be off. We gathered the kids around the kitchen table, told them our wishes and they’ve all agreed to go with it. There’s no way I could go through what (my father) did, or put my kids through that.

“My father deteriorated at such a rapid speed he became a shell of himself. Some say the disease is hereditary so at the first sign I want to be put out of my misery.”

Considering it the “final gift of love to (their) kids,” the couple have already contacted their lawyers to see to it that their wishes are respected.

Britney Spears loses custody of children

A court has ordered pop singer Britney Spears to give up custody of her children effective Wednesday at noon.

Spears' former husband, Kevin Federline, is to retain custody of their two sons "until further order of the court," according to a ruling by Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon.

It was not clear what led to Monday's decision awarding Federline full custody. A transcript of the court proceedings was ordered sealed.

Last month, a judge ordered Spears, 25, to submit to random drug tests after finding she engaged in "habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol."

That order, also by Gordon, provided no details and did not name any drugs.

The former couple has been embroiled in a bitter custody fight over their sons, Sean Preston and Jayden. The parents had split custody 50-50, but Federline then asked for the arrangements to be shifted to 70-30 in his favor.

In addition to ordering the twice-weekly drug tests, Gordon ordered Spears to spend eight hours per week working with a "parenting coach," who was to observe her interactions with her children.

Gordon also told both parents to avoid alcohol or "other non-prescription controlled substances" 12 hours before taking custody of the children.

He also barred the exes from making "derogatory remarks about the other party and the other party's family or significant other" during the case.

And he ordered the parents to go through "joint co-parenting counseling" and barred them from using corporal punishment on the boys.

Spears and Federline were married for two years before their divorce became final in July.

Monday's order comes amid a career freefall for Spears, whose new album is due to be released November 13.

After her September 9 "comeback" performance on the MTV Video Music Awards, critics derided her singing and dancing as lackluster and said she appeared overweight in her sequined two-piece costume. Her former divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, resigned last month as her legal representative after telling reporters the singer "just wants to be a mom."

Spears' management company, the Firm, recently quit after representing the singer for little over a month.

Farrah Fawcett Suffers Cancer Relapse

Former "Charlie's Angels" star Farrah Fawcett has suffered a
relapse in her battle against cancer and plans to pursue
alternative treatments in Germany, this according to reports.

"She is in Germany for therapy. She is getting informed about
several treatment methods that would be possible for her," Kathrin
Collins, a spokeswoman for Farrah told Germany's weekly Bunte
which hits newsstands Thursday.

Bunte said that Farrah would undergo chemotherapy at Frankfurt
University Hospital as well as alternative treatments in a clinic
in Bad Wiessee in the southern state of Bavaria.

She had been declared cancer-free by her doctors in February after
having a tumor removed in October... but cancerous cells reappeared
in her colon in this past May.

'24' star arrested on drunken driving charges

Kiefer Sutherland was arrested early Tuesday on misdemeanor drunken driving charges after failing a field sobriety test, police officials said.

The actor was pulled over at about 1:10 a.m. in West Los Angeles after officers spotted him making an illegal U-turn, said Officer Kevin Maiberger.

Sutherland, 40, tested over the state's legal blood alcohol limit of .08 percent, and was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence, Officer Karen Smith said.

He was released around 4 a.m. after posting $25,000 bail, according to Sheriff's Department records.

Maiberger said Sutherland was scheduled to appear in court October 16.

Congratulations to Salma Hayek as she and her businessman fiancé François Henri Pinault welcomed daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault into the world on Friday.

"Mother and child are doing well," said publicist Carl Ross in a statement. No further details are released.

It is the first child for the 41-year-old Salma Hayek.

I can’t believe this. One of the co-hosts of The View, Sherri Sheppherd, said she didn’t believe in evolution so co-host Whoopi Goldberg asked her if she believed the world was flat or round. She wasn’t able to answer, using the excuse that she was too busy being a good little housewife to think about complicated things like matters that science settled hundreds of years ago. Amazing.
